The Granary District, located near the heart of downtown McMinnville, Oregon is a group of former industrial properties that developer Kelly McDonald assembled to become McMinnville’s premier unique and uncommon mixed-use development. Rooted deeply in the agricultural history of Yamhill County, the Granary District continues the tradition by serving the wine industry with several boutique wineries on site. The development vision expands beyond the light industrial character of these businesses to include a mix of retail, office and future residential opportunities. Spa Bliss Salon and Day Spa calls the Granary District home and brings with it the peaceful elegance for those wanting to relax and find their inner peace.
The Granary District offers the community a large outdoor venue for seasonal events such as the Habitat for Humanity Brew’s and BBQ’s festival and the starting point for the McMennamins Alien Daze Parade. The site has also hosted the Turkey Rama Biggest Turkey Contest and the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored community dance. New events are in the works for 2010 and beyond that will continue to expand the role of the Granary District as a community event center. |
